My Articles at The Motley Fool

Disclaimer: I stopped writing for The Motley Fool in June 2013 after about two years. While I stand by nearly everything that I wrote for the site at the time, information contained in the articles below should not be construed to represent my current feelings about the individual companies mentioned or my thoughts regarding the market as a whole. The list below is not inclusive (there might be about six weeks of articles missing between December 2012 and January 2013), and I may in the future move some of the articles here directly to my site since I do own them and I would hate for them to be lost to the world should the Fool decide to purge them for some reason.

  1. Dear Mr. Eberhard,

Can you please tell me if this case settled and/or where I can find more information. My note was actually sold to the Harborview Trust 2005-2008, and I’m trying to save my family from being thrown out on the street.

    http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2013/05/30/bank-of-america-shrugs-off-continuing-legal-issues.aspx

I think Bank of America was forced to buy back all or many of the notes it sold to Harborview and it’s investors, including mine, and I’m trying to find out if my note is one that B of A bought. I can’t verify who owns my note.

I haven’t been able to find out if the parties settled the various claims by the numerous Harborview Trusts.

Thank you, in advance, for anytime you take to reply.

    Appreciatively,

    Ed Devine

    1. Ed,

I’m sorry, but I have no way of knowing where to find the information you seek. I haven’t followed Bank of America closely since I stopped writing about investing for the Fool in June 2013. There are probably better resources out there to find your answers.

Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

      Robert
