Been Away Too Long

Since my last post on June 10th, I’ve been meaning to get back to this blog, meaning to write at least something regularly, especially considering that I wasn’t going to be writing for The Motley Fool while I was going to grad school. Seven weeks later, with my very packed summer semester behind me — and hopefully with passing grades — I want to get back to writing something here again.

But that’s the issue. While I was planning on focusing on August as a month to get back to writing a little bit, I’m not 100% sure what I will be writing. In my previous attempts to post something every day, I have failed, or ended up writing a bunch of crap to fill out the month. I don’t want to do that again, but I also want to try and get back in the writing flow.

I have a lot of ideas about what I will be writing about — television I’ve been watching, books I’ve been reading, something about Ben Folds — but that is only a handful of days. I don’t know how much I will be writing, and I’m not committing to a set number of days or words, but expect to see more here throughout August and hopefully beyond. Hopefully, it will be something worthwhile, but I guess we won’t know for sure until it happens. So feel free to check back in here from time to time over the next month. I’m sure you’ll find something that will tickle your fancy.
