Brothers Across America – Day 5

One of the reasons we stopped in Little Rock on our little trip was to go to the Bill Clinton Presidential Library. It was pretty awesome, and it’s hard to really describe all the cool stuff that was there. However, I can compare it to the Lincoln Library that I went to last year.

The Clinton Library obviously has a bit more than the Lincoln Library, partly because Clinton was a two-term president, but also because of the age we live in. There is simply more stuff available, like reproductions of Clinton’s daily schedule for every day of his presidency. It would be amazing to see something similar for Lincoln, but I don’t think it exists in the same way.

There was a lot of stuff, almost too much to take in, so I didn’t take many photos. I will say, that if you are ever near Little Rock, you should definitely swing by, if only to remind yourself of all the cool things that Clinton did while in office. Though it is admittedly biased, I had forgot some of the stuff that he had done while president. One thing that was interesting was a letter from Mr. Rogers after Clinton gave a speech about children. There was a lot of other similar letters, but this caught my eye for some reason.

Now on to the state signs:

Just passed through, but still got the sign

We were only in Tennessee for a bit, but my GPS kept sending me in circles like it wanted to stay longer, so I figured it was okay to include the sign.

We bypassed Vicksburg due to time constraints, so our time in Mississippi was spent cutting across the state. We ran into some construction at the beginning of the state that led to a long delay and a detour, so it crunched our time a bit further and led to us getting a crummy Alabama sign picture:

I'm sure it is, but it was dark while we were here

You might not see him, but Billy is in this picture. Almost missed the sign because it came up without warning, but I was still glad we got it. Tomorrow, we should get Georgia and Florida, and it hopefully will be a little earlier in the day. One last pic of Bill on a bridge:

Until next time…
