Leave Chronology – Day One

We arrived in Frankfurt at around 10am. We tried to find the PAP in Frankfurt, even called the number. Apparently, it doesn’t exist. The number on the leave form called some vet in the states. We decided to head to the hotel and check-in, but alas we couldn’t do so for another two hours. We left our bags at the hotel and ventured out into Frankfurt for the first time. We didn’t really find anything that interesting. Spent the next few hours drinking at Chicago Meatpacker’s, starting with shots of absinthe, and returned to the hotel and just chilled out for the rest of the day, which included catching up on sleep.
