New Life, Phase 1

Now that it’s been about two weeks and other things in my life have seemed to work themselves out, I suppose that my move back to Utah is pretty much assured. The only question now is the actual timing of the whole thing. Do I move back immediately after my return from this deployment? Or do I wait until I get to the end of my Army career in February 2011? Maybe wait until I finish the accounting degree or when I sell my condo. I figure the earlier I can get to Utah, the sooner I can begin to start working on my life there. As much as I would like to have a job lined up prior to moving, I think having some money in the bank will do about the same thing. Besides, my living expenses will probably be a bit lower, at least initially, so I can sacrifice some time living off some savings and working part-time somewhere until I find a full time position. I’m both very excited and afraid at the same time.

So treat this as a call out to my peeps in Utah. If you know of potential jobs that can be had by me in around a year, please keep me in mind and let me know. I’ll even apply and everything so it doesn’t even have to be a simple handout. Refer any potential employer to my LinkedIn page and just let me know in general if you know of anything that might be a fit. Also, beyond the job thing, if there are any lovely ladies out there who need some adult male companionship upon my return, feel free to send them my way as well.
