“A Dallas high school girls basketball team has a case of blowout remorse.
The school now says it wants to do the right thing by seeking a forfeit and is apologizing for a 100-0 victory.
‘It is shameful and an embarrassment that this happened,’ the head of Covenant School said Thursday. He added that Covenant has made ‘a formal request to forfeit the game recognizing that a victory without honor is a great loss.’
Covenant, a private Christian school, beat Dallas Academy, 100-0. Academy has about 20 girls in its high school and specializes in teaching students struggling with ‘learning difference.’

This is disgusting to me. How do you lead a team 59-0 at halftime and decide not to call off the dogs. Or even after one quarter. I guess the coach of Covenant School does not teach his team about sportsmanship, or at least not while being unsportsmanlike. Only after an uproar is it okay to feel bad about being an ass hole.
