So, I could post a little something about the election and all the euphoria surrounding it, but I don’t think that is really necessary. I am excited that Barack Obama is our new President-Elect, but I also fear for the crazy ass things that Bush will try to do using his executive power the next two months. Nothing crazy like invading Iran or North Korea, but minor things like pardons and stuff. “Scooter” Libby is going to be released from jail, which, in all reality, is not as scary as releasing all rapists or anything, but he was convicted, he should serve his sentence, and not be let out because he is the President’s acquaintance. But I digress…
I sure am glad to be an employee of the federal government right now. Unemployment is at its highest level since 1994.
Even Barney is getting snippy about his pending job loss.
President Obama can’t be sworn in soon enough. Let the Change begin!

Here here! I think everyone is ready for some change. I don’t know how I feel about Obama. Of course I’d rather it be him than the Repubs, but there’s something about him that makes my creepy-dar go off a bit. I hope those feelings go away when he comes into office and does wonderful things. Hell, anything’s going to seem wonderful after having had Bush for 8 years. Bring it on!
